The Roddy Child-Villiers Investor Relations Award

In memory of Roddy Child-Villiers (1963-2014), the Consumer Analyst Group of Europe in collaboration with the UK Investor Relations Society has launched The Roddy Child-Villiers Investor Relations Award a.k.a. The Roddy to honour annually one preeminent investor relations executive.

Roddy Child-Villiers was key to the founding and development of CAGE, and this new award seeks to perpetuate and promote the professional and human characteristics that Roddy combined so effortlessly and seamlessly during his time as Head of Investor Relations at Nestlé. In this way, CAGE also hopes to support the investor relations community in its own objectives.

In its inaugural year of 2016, The Roddy was awarded to Richard Joyce, Director of Investor Relations of Reckitt Benckiser PLC, because of his outstanding demonstration of five key characteristics exemplified by Roddy: competence, communication, character, humanity and personality.
